A new median has been installed on 2600 North east of Washington Blvd. The reason for this median is the high number of illegal left turns into and out of 7-11 and Wells Fargo. “No Left Turn” signs have been posted at that location for over one year but were largely ignored. This median serves as an additional safety measure to help provide some protection to our residents.

UDOT is requiring that most new businesses along Washington Blvd put in a Median. Washington Blvd is a state owned road and UDOT maintains and determines what is needed in order for them to move traffic. The City is not in favor of medians along Washington Blvd or the 50-mile-per-hour speed limit through our City on Washington Blvd and west of Washington Blvd on 2600 North.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the medians, please call UDOT at 801-620-1607.
