The North Ogden City Public Works Department has many divisions which include the following:

Sewer and Culinary Water Problems:
If you have a problem with a sewer problem or a culinary water (house water) break, contact the City before calling a specialist at 782-8111 to report the problems occurring on the weekdays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. If there is no answer, please call the City Office at 782-7211 and they will contact us.
After hours, on holidays, or weekends, please call the City Office at 782-7211 and this number will put you through to the Answering Service and they will page the person who is on-call 24 hours a day to respond to emergencies at no cost to you.
If you have a problem with the sewer line, let us know immediately. Please do not wait until sewage has backed into the house.
Dyers Woad
There is a lot of Dyers Woad out this year. If you spot the yellow topped weed, take your round mouth shovel and cut it at the base of the plant a couple of inches under the dirt. Make sure you put the weed into a bag or it will spread. You can then call the city shop or Mel Blanchard to have the bag(s) collected and disposed of. Compost Pit
The compost pit is mainly run by volunteers, and
is a seasonal operation. The season runs from approximately
April 1st through October 31st. (Season may vary
depending on weather.) For more

Used Oil Collection
The City will continue to accept used motor oil at the City maintenance shop, 332 E Pleasant View Drive. Oil will be accepted during regular business hours, Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The oil must be free of any pollutants such as antifreeze, solvents, etc. Thank you for helping to keep North Ogden City environmentally safe.
